There are some general ecological aspects which have to be take into considerations for the therapeutic materials. These are:

  • The therapeutic material, generally are based on the natural product.
  • They have to be obtained from the inepuizable resources.
  • They have no any kind of toxicity and they have to be recyclable.
  • The impact of the wastes must be minimally for the soil, waters and air.
  • A very good biodegradability of the therapeutic materials and of the wastes are required.
  • The envelopes have to have the same ecological proprieties as materials.
  • The therapeutic materials usually have a "green sign" well recognized.

Other ecological aspects depend on the type of the product which are analyzed.
In the special case of the natural leather, fur and wool we have to analyze certaines kinds of ecological aspects as follows:

  • The naturals leather, fur and wool practicably inepuizable being finally linked with the food of the people.
  • A large quantities of raw materially, semi processed and finished products and chemical auxiliaries are wasted.
  • It is possible to have certain toxicity (Cr6 +, H2S, formaldehyde, organic solvents etc.)
  • A large quantities of polluted and used waters are collected from the tanneries.
  • The entire costs of the depoluant technologies are about 20 - 25 % from the total cost (price)of the finished leather, fur and wool products.

All these ecological aspects are respected when we start to produce AB1BELT for medical purposes. AB1 Belt is designed for natural leather (caw suede split) fur (wool-on lamb skin) and fine wool.
Caw suede split was tanned only with natural vegetable extracts, wool-on lamb skin was tanned with odorized natural fish oil and wool is clean processed.
All kinds of leather fur and wool derived from indigenous hides/skins resources.

Type of sorbents called "ABsorbent" are indigenous materials processed in order to be used for the recovering of spilled oil through adsorbtion and / or absorbtion.
Our "ABsorbent" products are residual natural organic material based on the indigenous wool, leather, wood and sphagnum resources which were tested and used with good results. They are satisfyng the following requirements: high adsorbtion efficiency including bad accesible locations, easy recovery after adsorbtion and easy processing after recovery, they have no toxicity and are not expensive…
